Just finished another Gothic Arch, this one is a little different from the other ones l have done recently, l thought l would incorporate some sort of opening on the Arch. Really pleased with the results and the final outcome. l used some scrummy papers, embellishments, embossed the door element of the design and a few eyelets too. Saturday, 22 March 2008

Sunday Stampers Challenge....I'm A Laydeeee

Over on Sunday Stampers Challenge this week the theme is I'm A Laydeeee........... As l seem to see the world in either a Gothic Arch or a Skinny at the moment l thought l would do a Gothic Arch for this challenge. l first stamped the 'lady' image on to photo paper using a black stayzon ink pad, then l coloured the image with distressing ink pads, for the background on the Gothic Arch l stamped a background image and embossed this and then coloured the background using twinking H20's, l also used four little flower embellishments too.

Some Skinny's........

A few Saturdays ago over on 'Skinny Saturday' there was a challenge to design a skinny on the lovely poem 'Mondays Child', l did that challenge and enjoyed it so much that l decided to carry on and create a whole set of Skinny's around that poem.
Here is that lovely poem
Mondays child is fair of face,
Tuesdays child is full of grace,
Wednesdays child is full of woe,
Thursdays child has far to go
Fridays child is loving and giving,
Saturdays child works hard for his living,
And the child that is born on the Sabbath day Is bonny and blithe, and good and gay.
